Motorcyclist Injured in Single Vehicle Crash

A motorcyclist was injured in a crash Friday afternoon in Jo Daviess County. 40 year old James Villa of Timberlake, N.C., was taken by ambulance to FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. According to the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Department., Villa was operating a motorcycle west on Highway 20 near Summit Drive in rural Stockton just after 3pm Friday when he failed to negotiate a curve and the motorcycle left the roadway and overturned.
