Badger Volleyball dialed in after loss in conference opener

MADISON, Wis. — The Badger volleyball team knew two things for certain coming into this season — the Big Ten would be loaded, and every team would be gunning for them.

Their first conference game proved just that, as Maryland gave Wisconsin its first loss since Nov. 29, 2019.

Now, the team is getting dialed in for their upcoming game against Minnesota.

“When you have this quality of competition coming at you all the time, it forces you to focus,” Head Coach Kelly Sheffield said. “It focuses you to move on and to learn, and that’s certainly something that we’ve got to do or else you have bigger problems in front of you.”
