A Rockford man will spend 2 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges related to high speed chase from early September. Sentencing for 23-year-old Joseph Collins was handed down in Jo Daviess County Circuit Court on Thursday. Authorities say Collins was driving a stolen vehicle near Galena at a high rate of speed and led police on a chase that ended near Elizabeth. He pled guilty to charges of aggravated fleeing. He’ll serve a year of supervised release after his time in prison.
