MADISON, Wis. — The Badgers dropped their second game in a row Saturday, losing to Michigan 38-17.
To make matters worse, starting quarterback Graham Mertz left the game with a reported rib injury after being sacked.

Mertz had thrown for 115 yards, with no interceptions, before leaving.
The Badger offense continued to struggle, with no players rushing for over 20 yards.
Chimere Dike led Badger receivers, with 54 receiving yards from 2 catches.
Michigan quarterback Cade McNamara was solid under center, throwing for 197 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The Badgers were 3-for-14 on third down and punted 8 times.
The Badgers now fall to 1-3 and travel to Illinois next week.
