A motorcycle driver from Galena crashed his motorcycle while being pulled over by a deputy in Lafayette County Saturday around 9:30pm. 33 year old Jacob Kane of Galena was traveling at a high rate of speed on Highway 11 in Shullsburg Township. The deputy attempted to pull Kane over and while the deputy attempted the stop the motorcycle, Kane entered a private driveway, failed to negotiate a turn, and lost control of the motorcycle, coming to a rest in a ditch. Kane was cited for Speeding and Failure to Keep his Vehicle under Control. Shullsburg Fire and Shullsburg EMS assisted on scene. Kane’s motorcycle had minor damage and no injuries were reported.
