Sauk County Fatal Crash

One person was killed Tuesday when they turned into the path of an oncoming semi northeast of Reedsburg. Sauk County authorities said they were dispatched to County Road H around 10am after getting several reports of a two-vehicle crash. When deputies arrived, they found the roadway completely blocked. Investigators said a driver was turning onto County Road H when they failed to yield the right of way and turned into the oncoming truck’s path. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver suffered minor injuries. Authorities say their investigation is ongoing.
