Middleton show dominance in Big 8 Conference Championship

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. – Middleton Cross Country’s speed and endurance were on full display at Sheehan Park on Saturday.

Both the girls and boys placed well at the Big 8 Conference Championship.

Middleton’s Lauren Ponsegrau crossed the line first in the girls’ meet, finishing an entire minute before anyone else.

For the boys, it was Cardinal Griffin Ward who finished first with a time of 15:58.

The Middleton girls team finished first, while the boys finished second.
