Belmont Man Arrested For 2nd OWI Plus Other Charges

A deputy with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to County Highway G in Belmont Saturday around 8:15pm for a traffic complaint of an erratic driver. As a result, 32 year old Jose Moncada-Rodriguez of Belmont was arrested for Operating after Revocation, 2nd offense of Operating while Intoxicated and Failure to Install an Interlock Ignition Device. 44 year old Sergia Marina-Sauceda of Belmont was also arrested on a valid warrant. Both Moncada-Rodriguez and Marina-Sauceda were taken to the Lafayette County Jail. Marina-Sauceda remains in custody and Monacada-Rodriguez was released on a cash bond. The Belmont Police Department assisted at the scene.
