A new report shows 41 of the 50 drunkest counties in the US are located in Wisconsin – with the state claiming the top 11 spots in the rankings. The study by 24-7 Wall Street ranked each county by excessive drinking rates – which included binge drinking or drinking heavily. In southwest Wisconsin, Iowa County ranked 11th in the nation – with Grant County 16th, Sauk County 23rd, Dane County 25th and Green County 35th. A handful of northeast Iowa counties also made the top 50. Winneshiek County is 12th in the US, and the highest ranked county outside of Wisconsin. Dubuque County is 14th, Clinton County is 19th and Delaware County is number 46 in the top 50 drunkest counties.
