A 21-year-old Apple River (Illinois) man has pled guilty to several charges connected to a spree involving a flare gun. Reports show Chandler Bourgeous has pled guilty to a count each of 1st-degree arson and criminal mischief, plus 2 counts each of assault with a dangerous weapon and 2nd-degree arson, as well as 4 counts of reckless use of fire. Police say Bourgeous and 2 other people from Asbury were arrested after officers discovered the 3 had fired flare guns at people and property around Dubuque in June. Bourgeous will be sentenced Decemeber 6th.
