Authorities in Grant County say a bicyclist was injured after being struck by a pickup truck Monday in South Lancaster Township. 65 year old Sharon Steiner of Lancaster was taken by ambulance to Grant Regional Health Center for treatment of her injuries. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, Steiner was cycling on County Highway A at around 3:30 p.m. Monday when the front corner of a truck driven by 72 year old Rose Fischer of Mount Hope struck the bicycle. Fischer thought she had given Steiner enough room on the road while passing her. Fischer was cited with unsafe passing of a bicycle.
