Rewey Woman Arrested For Drugs During Traffic Stop

A woman from Rewey was arrested after drugs were discovered in her vehicle. An Iowa County Deputy stopped to assist a motorist on Highway 18-151 in Brigham Township Thursday just after 3pm. As a result, 60 year old Mary Hopwood of Rewey was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of THC with Intent to deliver. Hopwood was taken to the Iowa County Jail, where she was booked on her charges and remains in custody.
