Mineral Point Elementary School Classes Canceled

Classes are canceled Tuesday at Mineral Point Elementary School due to contact tracing. According district officials, the elementary school will be closed so contact tracing can be completed. Staff said a COVID positive case came in contact with a “large number” of individuals. A release also said, due to the short notice, Tuesday would not be a virtual learning day for students. Officials said the district will monitor the situation and update families with information on what will happen Wednesday. The middle and high schools will continue as planned with in-person classes.
