A Richland Center woman was taken to an area hospital after a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon. The Richland County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened along Highway 14 just south of Richland Center around 1:45p. According to a sheriff’s report, 30-year-old Erica Hostetler of Avoca was attempting to cross Highway 14 from Pleasant Valley Drive. While going across the highway, Hostetler hit the driver side of a vehicle being driven by 49-year-old Stacy Ewing of Richland Center. The impact of the crash pushed Ewing’s vehicle into the ditch. Ewing was taken to Richland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Hostetler and her infant passenger had minor injuries but refused medical treatment.
