Badger hoops back in the top-25

MADISON, Wis. — Thanks to an impressive showing in the Maui Invitational, the Badger men’s basketball team cracked the top-25 for the first time this season.

Wisconsin sits #23 in the latest AP poll. But early season rankings don’t mean much to this team. Greg Gard illustrated that point to his team at practice with a choice between two plates: one full of candy, the other full of healthy food.

DAVIS HONORED:

For the first time in his career, Johnny Davis took home Big Ten player of the week honors. The Badger sophomore averaged 23.7 ppg, 6.7 rpg to lead the Badgers to their first Maui Invitational title in program history.
