UTV Catches On Fire, No Injuries

A UTV operator was uninjured after his UTV caught on fire Wednesday while traveling in Wingville Township on Wednesday around 8pm. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, 18 year old Treyton Starkey of Montfort was traveling on a UTV south on County Highway G when a fire started in the dash/cab area of the UTV. Starkey stopped and attempted to put the fire out but was unsuccessful. The UTV became fully engulfed and was a complete loss. Montfort Fire and EMS assisted at the scene.
