Truck Crashes Into Tri-State Fitness in Kieler

Grant County authorities have released details of a truck that crashed into a gym in Kieler last week. No one was injured when the crash occurred at about 8:15 p.m. Thursday at Tri-State Fitness in Kieler. Additionally, no equipment was damaged, and the gym remains open.  The vehicle was being driven by 46 year old Christopher Runde of Cuba City. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, Runde was attempting to stop his vehicle in the gym parking lot when he experienced a brake system malfunction” and was unable to avoid striking the front of the building, damaging its interior and exterior walls.
