A mother and daughter from Mineral Point will have to get separate attorneys for their reckless homicide cases to avoid conflicts of interest. Fifty-year-old Laurie Barry and her 28-year-old daughter, Alexis Barry, face charges in the death of a teenager who was in their care two years ago. A forensic pathologist noted “possible restrain marks” on the victim’s wrists and said she probably suffocated to death.
