Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez says the number of people attending the Democratic National Convention will depend on the public health situation at the time. However, Perez is firm about one big thing – he says Democrats will descend on Milwaukee in August. He won’t predict how many will be allowed – or will be willing – to attend. Democrats moved their gathering from July to August due to the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, Republicans are looking for a new location for their convention after Charlotte, North Carolina was unable to guarantee allowing a capacity crowd to attend the convention venue.
