A Scales Mound man is facing multiple charges after authorities were called about a potential burglary. Officials report that 26-year-old Jesse Jones was arrested for obstructing justice, as well as warrants charging theft, possession of meth, and possession of a stolen credit card. Police were called around 11am Monday for a burglary in a rural Scales Mound building. Jones refused to exit the building when police arrived. A K9 officer at the scene helped take Jones into custody before being arrested on his charges.
