The filing period ends on Tuesday for dozens of local city, county and school district seats in southwest Wisconsin. The seats will be up for election on April 5th. The period for candidates to circulate nomination papers for Wisconsin’s spring election started in early December and runs through 5 p.m. Tuesday. Among the seats on spring ballots are: 17 seats each on the Crawford County and Grant County boards of supervisors; 21 seats on Iowa County’s board; and 16 on Lafayette County’s board
Three seats on the Cassville Village Board; five seats on Cuba City Common Council; four seats on the Darlington City Council; four seats on the Hazel Green Board of Trustees; five seats on the Lancaster Common Council; two seats on the Platteville Common Council; and three seats on Shullsburg Common Council
Three seats on the Cassville school board; two seats on the Cuba City school board; two seats on the Darlington school board; three seats on the Lancaster school board; three seats on the Platteville school board; three seats on the Potosi school board; two seats on the Shullsburg school board; and two seats on the Southwestern school board.
