A Wauzeka woman was arrested for drunk driving shortly after authorities stopped her husband for driving drunk. According to a Grant County Sheriff’s Office report, a Boscobel Police Officer was processing an OWI arrest around 1:30 Sunday morning along Wisconsin Avenue. While the officer was waiting for a sober driver to take the passenger – 40-year-old Sara Stowell – home, she got behind the wheel and began to drive away. She drove over the curb and collided with a utility pole. Stowell was not hurt in the crash. She was arrested for OWI. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
