The owners of the Milwaukee Bucks could wind up in court with the Democratic Party. The trouble started in May when the Milwaukee 2020 Host Committee didn’t make its one-million-dollar installment payment. The big plans for the Democratic National Convention included a seven-million-dollar contract to use the Fiserv Forum. That has all changed. The party wanted to amend its contract and reduce the payment, but Bucks President Peter Feigin said the full seven million dollars was due whether the convention was held at the new facility or not. Eventually, reports indicate the Democrats paid five-and-a-half million dollars for the rights to a building they won’t be using.
