Highland Man Arrested For Being Felon in Possession of Firearm

A man from Highland was arrested Saturday shortly before 7pm following a traffic stop on Highway 14 in Arena. An Iowa County Deputy assisted an Arena Police Officer with the traffic stop in which 34 year old Jarrod Stocks was arrested for Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and on a hold through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Stocks was taken to the Iowa County Jail in Dodgeville where he was booked on the charges and remains in custody pending a bond hearing and on a hold through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
