Fatal UTV Crash Under Investigation in Northeast Iowa

One person is dead and another is hurt after a UTV collided with an SUV near Waukon in Allamakee County. The Iowa State Patrol says both vehicles were headed west on Highway 9 Monday afternoon when the UTV turned in front of the SUV, causing the crash. State troopers say the victim who died at the scene was not wearing a seat belt. No names have been released.
