A total of nine fire departments responded to a blaze in northern Grant County that destroyed a barn. Officials say firefighters were on the scene along Crown Hill Road for nearly 7 hours from late Sunday into early Monday. According to a report, the barn had about 40 cattle inside, but they all got out. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. The barn is a total loss as crews used an excavator to tear the building down in order to extinguish the blaze. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
