Potosi Teacher Named Wisconsin VFW Teacher of the Year

Amy Siegert, a middle school and high school English and social studies teacher in the Potosi School District has been named the VFW’s state teacher of the year. Siegert was nominated by the Potosi chapter of Wisconsin Veterans of Foreign Wars. Siegert teaches English, social studies and speech with students from sixth grade to high school. She’s the library director and leads extracurricular activities, including the upcoming spring play.
