More Details About Stand-off in Dodgeville

Authorities in Iowa County have released more details about a 15 hour stand-off in Dodgeville Monday. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Dodgeville Police Department with a disturbance at a residence on West Clarence Street that began shortly after 6am. As a result of the disturbance, 31 year old Julia Hauser of Dodgeville was arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Bail Jumping. 25 year old Beau Cunningham of Dodgeville was arrested on charges of Domestic Disorderly Conduct, Endangering Safety-Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Bail Jumping and Failure to Comply with an Officer. The incident ended around 9pm after authorities entered the home and arrested Cunningham. Hauser and Cunningham were taken to the Iowa County Jail where they were booked on their charges and remain pending a bond hearing. The Southwest Emergency Response Negotiations Team assisted with the incident.
