COVID-19 cases continue to drop in Wisconsin, with the state’s 7-day average falling below 1,000 for the first time since early August. The state Department of Health Services reports the current average is at 982 cases per day. According to DHS data, all 72 counties in Wisconsin have fallen out of the “critically high” activity category – and the state’s positivity rate has also fallen to 6%. Statewide, about 64% of people have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 60% are fully vaccinated.
