The average heating customer with We Energies is expected to pay about 58 dollars less than last year to keep warm this winter. That’s an expected savings of 11 percent. A utility spokesperson says a steady decrease in natural gas prices is driving the positive trend. The six-month heating season is expected to bring the lowest bills customers have seen in almost 20 years.
