A Lancaster man was arrested after fleeing authorities in the Prairie du Chien area. Accoding to a recent report, during a traffic stop, 31-year-old Steven Roling fled from officers on foot. Prairie du Chien Police and Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputies worked to locate Roling. Officials found him laying down inside a locked shed – where Roling refused to come out. He eventually gave up, but still resisted law enforcement. Police were able to apprehend Roling after using a Taser. He was arrested for 2nd offense of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance, as well as resisting an Officer, battery or threat to a law enforcement officer, plus misdemeanor and felony bail jumping.
