A Prairie du Chien man is facing multiple drug charges following a traffic stop late Monday. A Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputy had pulled over 27-year-old Matthew Davis around 11:15 Monday night. A K9 officer alerted authorities to the presence of controlled substances in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle turned up meth, marijuana and items associated with drug paraphernalia. Davis was arrested for his 3rd offense of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled sustance. He also faces charges of possession of meth, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. A passenger in the vehicle – 25-year-old Savannah Wall of Prairie du Chien – was cited for possession of THC. An investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.
