Badgers hosting scavenger hunts across state to mark 100 days until football season kicks off

In a news release, the team said UW staff members will put 100 mini Badger football helmets in parks in Appleton, Eau Claire, Madison and Racine/Kenosha. The helmets will have codes on them that the lucky people who find them can scan for prizes ranging from tickets and gift cards to footballs autographed by Head Coach Paul Chryst.

The specific parks will be announced at 6 a.m. Thursday.

Season ticket sales also open up on Thursday.
