The Mineral Point School District has announced its plan to start this upcoming school year with a mix of in-person and online learning. In a social media post from the school district, board members voted 5 – 2 Monday night in favor of a hybrid model. School officials say that staff will look at ways to make this option the best one possible. Families of Mineral Point students – who prefer an all-virtual option – are welcome to do that as well. Officials will be getting more information to students and parents in the near future. The district Facebook page also reminds everyone that this is a fluid situation and the plan could change based on COVID-19 activity.
