Jefferson finishes runner-up for the second straight season

GRAND CHUTE, Wis. — Jefferson’s goal wasn’t just to get back to the state baseball tournament, but to finish the job.

Last year the Eagles fell to the Vikings in the division 2 state championship game. This season they had a shot at redemption, but came up short again. Denmark won its second straight title thanks to a walk-off hit in the bottom of the 7th.
