GREEN BAY, Wis. — For a third straight week, the Packers couldn’t find an answer. The Washington Commanders took the win at FedEx Field on Sunday, 23-21.
The first half was a mess of ineffective offense, a defense that allowed decent yards to a second-string quarterback, and overall dirty football. The Packers muffed a punt, wasted a challenge, and committed a whopping 6 penalties. One of those flags, a questionable illegal contact call, wiped out a scoop-and-score that would’ve made Green Bay’s halftime lead feel a bit more secure.
