GREEN BAY, Wis. — For the first time this season, the Packers will play on a day that is not Sunday.
The Tennesse Titans are set to visit Lambeau Field on Thursday night, but if you’re trying to watch the game on cable TV, you’re out of luck.
Due to a new broadcasting rights agreement, all Thursday night NFL games this season are shown on Amazon Prime Video. So if you want to catch the Pack, you will have to take some extra steps.
You can download the Amazon Prime Video app if you have a smart TV. If not, you’ll want to visit Amazon’s website by clicking here.
Once there you will have to pay for Amazon Prime in order to use the service and watch the game. Amazon does offer a 30-day free trial, which you can sign up for by clicking here. After the trial, the service costs $14.99 per month plus taxes. Amazon offers discounted plans for students and those with qualified government assistance.
Once you have an account, you’ll be able to watch Thursday’s game either through the smart TV app or on Amazon’s website on your desktop, smartphone or tablet.
If you don’t want to sign up for Amazon Prime, you can catch the game the old fashion way. The Packers Radio Network has affiliate stations across Wisconsin and even stretches into Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois and the Dakotas. You can find your station here.
The Packers will look to win a second game in a row, after snapping a five-game losing streak on Sunday against the Cowboys. The Titans will be looking to bounce back after falling to the Chiefs in overtime in their last game.
Kickoff on Thursday is set for 7:15 p.m. CT.
