A junior from Kauai, Hawaii, Herbig led the Big Ten with 11 sacks and 15.5 tackles for loss. He recorded 47 total tackles and forced 2 fumbles. This is Herbig’s first time being named to the All-Big Ten team.
Torchio was the game-changer multiple times this season for Wisconsin. The senior from Lafayette, Calif. grabbed 5 interceptions and returned two of them for touchdowns. The ‘Jewelry Thief’ also registered a sack, 2.5 tackles for loss and 51 total tackles.
Torchio picked up Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors in October after recording two interceptions in the Badgers’ win over Purdue.
Senior nose tackle Keeanu Benton was named Third-Team All-Big Ten. The Janesville Craig grad posted 10 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks.
