The Badgers are one of four Big Ten teams in the latest Top 25, the others being No. 1 Purdue, No. 16 Illinois and No. 18 Indiana. Marquette entered the Top 25 this week at No. 24, meaning Wisconsin is one of six states to have multiple ranked schools.
The Badgers have two more games to play before the end of the year, both at the Kohl Center. The first comes on Friday against Grambling State at 8 p.m. The Tigers are riding a tepid 6-4 record and were blown out 74-48 by No. 21 Virginia Tech in their most recent game.
Wisconsin will wear a special jersey for Friday’s game designed by the players themselves. The jerseys are black and feature gold pinstripes with the words “Equality, Unity, Wisconsin Forward.” The look was revealed last month and made its on-court debut on Nov. 13 when the UW women wore them during a win over North Florida.

Wisconsin caps off 2022 with a game on Dec. 30 against Western Michigan at 7 p.m. The Broncos’ record currently sits at 3-8.
