Two eastern Iowa men have been cited after crashing their motorcycles into each other near Potosi. Deputies with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office were notified of the collision about 8:15pm Saturday. Officials say the two motorcycles – being driven by 53-year-old Joel Baker of North Liberty and 53-year-old Shawn Muldoon of Cedar Rapids – were both turning into Pine Point Lodge along Highway 133. According to the sheriff’s report, Baker was following too closely and crashed into the back of Muldoon. Both motorcycles had been removed from the scene when deputies arrived. Baker was cited for no valid motorcycle license and inattentive driving. Muldoon was also cited for no valid motorcycle license. Potosi Fire and EMS assisted the sheriff’s office at the scene.
