Face coverings will continue to be required for all City of Lancaster employees – even if the governor’s order isn’t extended next week. The Lancaster City Council approved a motion on Monday to extend the same guidelines in Governor Evers’ current mask mandate for its city employees. The city council will address the issue again next month. The Lancaster City Council also approved a face covering ordinance for anyone (employee or citizen) when inside a city-owned building – such as City Hall or the police department. That ordinance will be revisited next month as well.
