Iowa County Authorities Arrest Blanchardville Man

Iowa County authorities received a report of a passer-by of a woman who appeared to be in distress on County Road K, South of Barneveld Sunday around 5:30pm. It was reported that a man was along side of the woman in a vehicle and was being aggressive towards the woman and the passer-by. Iowa County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the area and made contact with the woman. Following an investigation, an Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy along with the assistance of Blanchardville Police made contact at a residence in Blanchardville with 39 year old Paul Klarer of Blanchardville who was arrested and taken to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked on charges of Domestic Disorderly Conduct and Battery. Klarer was later released after being bonded out.
