Van’s Liquor Store in East Dubuque spent part of the day on Wednesday closed after a semi-tractor trailed snagged a low hanging wire from a nearby utility pole on Wall Street and brought down three utility poles into the parking lot. The semi-tractor trailer was a Coca-Cola truck. As a result, Van’s Liquor Store was closed for about four hours. No one was injured.
