Drunk Driver Lafayette County

A Cedar Rapids man was arrested in southwest Wisconsin for his 3^rd offense of drunk driving. The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called about 5:45 Saturday night for a traffic complaint along Highway 151 in Platteville Township. Authorities pulled over the suspected vehicle – which was being driven by Jason Rimrodt. Following an investigation, Rimrodt was arrested for his 3^rd offense OWI, open intoxicants in a vehicle, deviating from lane of traffic, no proof of insurance and operating after revocation. The sheriff’s department reports Rimrodt was booked on his charges and remains in custody at the Lafayette County Jail.
