Van Orden Jumps From Plane to Commemorate D-Day

Wisconsin 3rd District Congressman Derrek Van Orden of Prairie Du Chien was among a group of bipartisan House lawmakers, who jumped out of a plane Friday morning.  The jump at Normandy was to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day and to honor the veterans who participated in the air and sea invasion.  The lawmakers jumped from a vintage C-47 Skytrain, which was a widely used aircraft during World War II.
