FX Picks Up ‘The Beauty’ Series From Ryan Murphy, Starring Evan Peters

Ryan Murphy’s new drama The Beauty has been picked up by FX, with Evan Peters, Ashton Kutcher, Anthony Ramos, and Jeremy Pope set to star. The series, based on a 2016 Image Comics title, revolves around a sexually transmitted disease that enhances physical beauty but leads to a dark conspiracy. Production starts this fall, adding to Murphy’s prolific recent series debuts like American Sports Story and Monsters. This project also continues the collaboration between Murphy and Peters, who previously worked together on American Horror Story, Pose and the Jeffrey Dahmer-focused first season of Monster (which earned Peters an Emmy nomination).
