Jane Fonda To Receive SAG Life Achievement Award

Jane Fonda will receive the SAG Life Achievement Award at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in February, adding to her impressive list of accolades including two Oscars, two BAFTA Awards, an Emmy, and seven Golden Globes. “I have been working in this industry for almost the entirety of my life and there’s no honor like the one bestowed on you by your peers,” Fonda said. The awards will be streamed live on Netflix on February 23. Fonda has also been a vocal advocate for gender equality, civil rights, and environmental issues. On her 85th birthday, she raised $1 million for a non-profit in Georgia focused on educating children to make healthy life choices. (AP)
