Dolly Parton’s multimedia concert experience, Dolly Parton‘s Threads: My Songs in Symphony, has announced dates for upcoming performances that will take place in 11 U.S. cities from March of 2025 through May of 2026. Parton herself will not be taking part in the shows live in person, but the country legend will be featured on-screen throughout the performance. The shows will all feature local orchestras and symphonies who will help bring Parton’s classic country songs to vivid life during the show. After its premiere date in Nashville on March 20 with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, My Songs in Symphony will visit Pittsburgh, Phoenix, Cleveland, Cincinnati, San Diego, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Portland, Eugene, and Birmingham over the course of its initial 15-month tour. “The threads of my life are woven together through my songs,” said Parton in a statement. “That’s why this project… is so special to me. It’s all about sharing my music and my musical journey with audiences in a new way.” (Variety)
