The Grammy Awards will air on Disney networks starting in 2027, marking a significant shift from their long-time home on CBS. Under the new 10-year deal, ABC, Hulu, and Disney+ will simulcast the show until 2036, making Disney the host of both the Grammys and Oscars, two of the most-watched awards shows annually. Notably, CBS will broadcast the Grammys for the last time in 2026, ending a 50+ year partnership that began in 1973. “Live events have never been more important to our culture and industry, and we just acquired one of the crown jewels, adding to our portfolio of world-class programming across all genres,” a Disney exec said in a statement.
