Brad Paisley took to Instagram on Wednesday (January 8) to mourn the loss of his first home that he had with his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, which burned down in the recent fires in Los Angeles. The country star reflected on some significant things that happened to his young family in that home, while also expressing concern for all those affected by the tragedy. “We lived in Pacific Palisades for years. It was the first house Kim and I bought together,” Paisley shared. “Memories were made with some of our dearest friends, the first nursery we had to prep. That beautiful old house burned last night. As did most of that community. So many good people displaced, devastated and cast out all over LA.” While Paisley said he will eventually share a donation link to help those in need, he expressed that “right now I just want to mourn the loss of a town. And acknowledge the beauty and the memories of what it was. It is all so tragic and sad.” (People)
